5 Months

Holy Moly!  5 months?  Time is FLYING.

This past month has proven to be my favorite month yet.  However, from what I hear, I will likely say that every month from here on out.

Hayley is a happy, sweet, cuddly, feisty, active, lovely baby.  Her favorite places are on Momma's hip, Daddy's shoulder, or in her Johnny Jumper.

Hayley finally caught the sleeping bug!  We are THRILLED and THANKFUL!  Our method was: Praying a lot, staying consistent (bedtime routine), and getting rid of the pacifier.  Saying goodbye to the pacifier was hard because she loved it and we loved it.  However, we realized that she was dependent on having it in her mouth in order to fall asleep.  She would wake up with out it and cry until it was replaced.  Once I started keeping tally marks of how many times she would wake up crying for it (10-16 times a night on average), we made the decision to phase it out.  She'll still take it during the day, which is great.  Praise the Lord for sleep, a happy baby, and rested (well.. that's a relative term) parents!

Hayley's first time swimming!  (Baby thighs are the best.)

Nothing better than sharing a "first" together.

 Showcasing her various swimsuits!

 All tuckered out.

Hayley's first trip to San Francisco!  We attended a birthday party in Golden Gate Park.  She wasn't a fan of the cold weather, but was a champ.

Who says men can't multi-task?  Playing football AND holding the baby.  Boom.

What is it with our child covering her face while she sleeps??  She sleeps with a little lovey and it always ends up over her head... which in turn makes me constantly check on her.

Riding in the big girl stroller!  No more infant carrier!  She loves it.

Her "I just woke up and I am still sleepy" face.  Completely kissable.
